Unsur-Unsur Kafir/Syaitan Laknatullah Dalam Sambutan Hari Raya!

September 7, 2010

Wahahaha :)

This is absolutely hilarious!! Check it out at this dude’s blog:-

Jadi bagaimanakah adat memakan ketupat wujud dikalangan Melayu? Ternyata adat memakan lemang dan ketupat semasa raya bukan mengikut syariat Islam dan tanpa disedari kita telah mengikut amalan Freemason semasa menyembah Syaitan.

Exactly what I was saying here, about the controversial TV3 raya ad! :P

I’m willing to bet RM100 that this will cause an outcry too..

Oh ye of little faith…oppps shouldnt say that…could be blasphemous if they knew the origins of that phrase…..

Sleepless-ness II

September 4, 2010

3rd post for the night (or morning). This has to be some sort of record. No prizes for content though, but who cares..

All I wanna say is that, I am still awake. And, I was right, there is a frothy housing market somewhat here. Not a bubble, but certainly frothy.

And wtf is this?

SHAH ALAM, Sept 1 – Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad said today that he supports the federal government’s decision to give out “duit raya” for civil servants but pointed out that the payment would cost more than RM900 million, which is more than the RM750 million the Najib administration had saved by cutting subsidies this year.

Typical. Robbing Peter to pay Paul. Undilah kerajaan Barisan Nasional.

Lost (Not The TV Show)

August 12, 2009

Excellent intellectual article. A must read.

And timely too. To remind us peons that we are cannot possibly live righteously without those with legitimate authority showing us the true path.

I mean, why have I even bothered to think before this? I could just go to them. No need for me to crack my head and think. And even if I managed such an ardous task (ie to think), my interpretation will be wrong anyway.  Because I am not the ‘legitimate authority’.

Clearly, without them we would all be confused and lost.

Like sheep gone astray in a fog of haze caused by Malaysian oil palm companies burning rubbish in Indonesia.

Like Liverpool players scurrying around the park chasing shadows as they were outplayed by Pirlo and Co in the 2005  Champions League Final.

Like ayam kampung masuk bandar or rusa masuk kandang lembu.

LOSTTT!!!!!

We are going down…

April 15, 2009

I came across two interesting articles. One drew parallels between Pakistan and Malaysia. The other, Phillipines and Malaysia. I was quite disturbed by the comparisons. Not because it is an ‘insult’ (yes, some may term it an insult, after all, bangsa melayu takkan lenyap di dunia, no?), but because all the signs are pointing towards us heading that direction. Rapidly…

1. We are a nation too obsessed with race. What has being the first to step foot on Tanah Melayu has got to do with rights? Shouldnt we all be endowed with equal rights? After all, we all pay the same taxes dont we?

2. We use religion as a tool to mask our political intentions. A person with a true understanding of religion, will never condone 1). A person with a true understanding of religion will understand that religion is between God and men. It is an insult to say that God needs us to protect his religion (whatever religion you are). He does not need us, we need him. Do not hide behind the cloak of religion to cover your insecurities and evil design.

3. The majority of our politicians are corrupt and self serving. They are ‘career politicians’ i.e. people who would not be able to get a decent paying job elsewhere. Their only form of livelihood is politics. They have no careers, they know no other trait. This kind of politicians breed corruption and crony capitalism. And notice how they all come from the same families. It is no wonder that the rest of our civil service is corrupt. A fish starts to stink from the head.

4. We no longer have rule of law. A minister holding office can lie without any accountability. A court can sentence two men to hang for murder, which they rightly commit of cos, but without first investigating the mens rea. Suspicious evidences are deemed inadmissable. Important witnesses go missing. Dying in police custody is considered fine. Vote tampering is a norm, no one is surprised anymore. Paying huge kickbacks is considered normal part of business costs.

5. There is no such thing as independance of the judiciary, executive and legislation. It is all one and all. What hope has the common man for justice, for a chance at leading a decent life?

6. The worst is, there is absolutely no attempt to correct the above. Everything is done in a half hearted manner, to appease a few. Those in power are intent to continue the status quo, because it would mean that their plump positions will remain theirs. Those eyeing for power will do anything to get into power. Even via unethical means.

This is a country going down to the drains. God help us. Cos certainly, we are not doing anything to help ourselves.

Adat

March 8, 2009

I think I just touched a raw nerve. It’s one of those things that has been lurking in the shadows, waiting to reveal itself. Well, I suppose now’s as good a time as any…

Isnt it fascinatingly disturbing how people in Melayusia seem so preoccupied with race? So what if my mom’s a Chinese or my grandfather’s an Indian? Isn’t what we learn from them more important than the color of their skin, or the language that they speak?

Melayu’s especially are guilty of this. For them, saying that they are descendants from India for example, is a big insult. But saying they are descendants of Arabs, that’s different, that’s a big compliment. Perhaps it makes them feel more holy.

But seriously., what the hell is wrong if we come from the same lineage as Sharukh Khan? Does it make me any worse? I remember the whole commotion that erupted when someone mentioned that Hang Tuah was probably Chinese. So what if he is? Does it make him any less heroic? And why would he race affect who we are?

What our ancestors are, don’t define who we are. We do.

———————————————————————————————

Another proverbial Melayu pastime. The adat.

I hate the word adat. I hate the whole concept of adat. Why should I do something in a certain way, just because generations before me did it that way?

And notice how there is always this tendency to link adat to religion. Its an age old, tried and tested trick. Sure work punya. A guaranteed way to gain credibility for what you are advocating is and has always been: -

1. Say it comes from God – No one would dare question you.

2. Ensure that the ritual includes reciting verses from the Quran – Yes, this step is essential in convincing people, because most Muslims have never read (not recite) the Quran before.

3. Make up evidences to support 1). They most surely won’t find that in the Quran, so what they do is use hearsay. Yes, say that Mr X who was son of Mr Y who was the cousin of Mr Z, who in turn studied under the great teacher Mr S.

———————————————————————————————

And if they commit evil acts, they say: “We found our fathers doing such, and God ordered us to it.” Say: “God does not order evil! Do you say about God what you do not know?” (7:28)

Creating rituals and attributing it to God, is nothing new. That’s why to the melayus, adat is sacrosanct. Because it is seen to come from God. To the melayus, even your own children is not as important as adat. Biar mati anak, jangan mati adat. Most would defend their adat to their last dying breath.

And ever wonder where does adat Melayu originate from?

The sub continent, folks. Yes. I’ll say it again. The sub continent i.e. India. Think of marhaba, merenjis, etc. The very people most Melayus hate to associate themselves with. And since all adat really is, is the practice of rituals handed on to us by our forefathers, doesn’t that make Melayus, really Indians??

Of cos, no one can prove that. But the evidence is very very compelling.

Ironic, isn’t it? I call it karmasutra ..:)

———————————————————————————————

And We have sent down to you the Scripture with truth, authenticating what is present of the Scripture and superseding it. So judge between them by what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires from what has come to you of the truth. For each of you We have made laws, and a structure; and had God willed, He would have made you all one nation, but He tests you with what He has given you; so strive to do good. To God you will return all of you, and He will inform you regarding that in which you dispute.

So really, we were ALL previously ONE nation. The fact that we are different, is a test to us. I think we are failing this test badly.

Disclaimer / disclosure:

1. Sorry, it didn’t start off as a Melayu bashing post, it just evolved into one.

2. Ive made a lot of generalizations above. I know it doesn’t apply to some people.

3. Max is a melayu too according to his kad pengenalan, (though someone once called max melayu murtad..haha…), which gives him the right to buy houses at discounts in Melayusia. Yipppee…

Short Dubai, long Abu Dhabi…

February 24, 2009

The blocks of empty luxury condos look eeriely scary. The party has finally ended. My only surprise is it took this long.

In a way, I kinda pity Dubai. Everyone flocked here to make a quick buck. Build big, buy it off the plan, (forget whether you can afford it in the first place), then flip it. Now, Dubai-an’s are left to sort out the mess. Imagine, the monthly fee for a carpark in DIFC is RM2k, and lets not forget, despite everything, this is a desert we are talking about!!

I think it will be a long time before the excesses are cleared out. Dubai will never be the same again.

Abu Dhabi on the other hand, is a different story. Despite its deeper pockets, it has refrained from undertaking the outrageous kind of publicity and world record breaking kind of projects, unlike its flashy younger brother Dubai. It’s development plans seem more holistic and takes into account the social aspects of the society; healthcare, education etc. It certainly looks more sustainable, but again, I hate to underestimate the contagion effect. Markets can overshoot, it can also undershoot.

———————————————————————————————

On a separate note, I overspent. Shit. I probably didnt really need the second suit. So much for trying to save $$$..sigh…

(45:6) ‘…in what other Hadith will they believe..?’

February 20, 2009

I am reminded of this verse after reading this article here.

Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition (Hadith) will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? (45:6 Yusuf Ali)

I’ve added the word ‘Hadith’ after exposition. That is the actual word/term ‘hadeethin’ used in the Quran. Two things here: -

1. It’s so obvious, even the same term ‘Hadith’ is used.

2. They never stop. After 1,400 years, people never change. They are still attributing lies to Him..

And what think those who invent lies against Allah, of the Day of Judgment? Verily Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but most of them are ungrateful. (10:60 Yusuf Ali)

Scholars??? My ASS….(I)

February 19, 2009

It’s disgusting.

Never have I seen a bunch of people who want to get paid so much for doing so little. Surely they can’t be that naive not to know that this is all a huge scam? No..not when they collude together like some clubby old boys’ club and squeeze every single dollar across the whole ’value chain’ in the name of God.

These greedy and ungrateful fuckers are truly the scum of the earth. They’re prying on people’s fears for money. At least prostitutes do not hide the fact that they are doing it for money.

————————————————————————————————————————————————-

After so long, I still find it amazing how certain things I experience reminds me of what was Written before.

Those are they whom Allah guideth, so follow their guidance. Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for it. Lo! it is naught but a Reminder to (His) creatures.  (6:90 Pickthal)

Thou askest them no fee for it. It is naught else than a reminder unto the peoples.  (12:104 Pickthal)

Follow those who ask of you no fee, and who are rightly guided. (36:21 Pickthal)

He is telling us to ‘follow those that asks us for no fee’.  Simple, no? And it makes so much sense too….

But who am I to say so? I’m not learned enough, unlike them.

The Quran is too complicated for the likes of me. Nanti sesat.

Only they are qualified to interpret the Quran. The rest of us should just parrot it without really understanding a single word. Only then we will go to Heaven.

Trust me, if I am gonna burn (and I probably will), I have absolutely no doubt that I’ll see them there as well…
